We believe that the most important thing about anyone is how and what they think about God. All of life is consciously or subconsciously shaped by this thought. God is the issue! How a person thinks about God shapes one’s values and perspective of life.
Because God wants us to think rightly about him, he has given us the Bible. Only an understanding of God, as presented in the Bible, can sufficiently satisfy the human heart.
The Bible introduces us to the person of Jesus Christ. We know God through Jesus Christ and grow in our relationship with Him as we get to know Jesus Christ. We come to know and grow in Christ by grace through faith.
The Bible reflects the character of God and is divinely inspired and inerrant. As such it teaches us how to walk on God’s path, admonishes us when we have gotten off God’s path, directs us back to it, helps us to remain on it.
Our goals in worship are to be creative, familiar and excellent. These qualities reflect the character of God who does things in creative ways with excellence. Worship must also be expressed in a manner which reflects the tastes of those who have come to worship God. Hymns and well known worship choruses will be blended together to prepare hearts for the ministry of God’s Word.
